One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is go to brunch. Brunch is one of the best things ever - especially if mimosas are involved. I have gone to a variety of restaurants around the Boston area and have a few that are my favorite.

Tory Row || Saturday + Sunday: 9 am to 2 pm || menu 3 Brattle Street; Cambridge, Massachusetts 02138

Tory Row is located in Harvard Square right across from the Harvard T stop. This is one of my favorite brunch spots because they give you so much food for such a reasonable price. Tory Row also has mimosas {faaaav}. My favorite dish is the english muffin egg sandwich {fried eggs, breakfast sausage + Vermont cheddar}, and home fries. This also comes with a salad which is not noted on the menu. During the nice spring days and summer months, you can sit outside on their little patio which is always a plus.

Trident Booksellers + Cafe || Breakfast served all day, everyday || menu 338 Newbury Street; Boston, Massachusetts 02115

Trident Booksellers + Cafe is located on Newbury Street. I like Trident because it's cute + cozy and the food is amazing. I've only been here once and loved it. I tried the breakfast sandwich {do we see a trend here?} with avocado on an english muffin with hot mulled cider. All the items on the menu looked superb, so it was very hard to decide on one thing to get. I'm definitely going to go back to try more!

Arlington Diner || Breakfast served all day, every day || menu
134 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, Massachusetts 02474
I love Arlington Diner. I love diners in general, actually. They have a great breakfast menu at a great price. I usually get a waffle with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries when I go to the diner. One time I tried to be adventurous and tried a waffle and a blueberry muffin and filled my eyes before my stomach. Way too much food to try to consume.

Andy's Diner || Breakfast served all day, everyday || menu 2030 Massachusetts Avenue; Cambridge, Massachusetts 02140

Andy's Diner is a hidden gem. The location seems as though it is hidden, but really, it's not. I've been a few times and am always satisfied. My favorite is the french toast with eggs + bacon and orange juice. I've also had their meat lovers omelette which was fantastic. They also have specials every weekend - which may be items that are normally on the menu.

The Breakfast Club || Served all day, everyday || menu 270 Western Avenue; Allston, Massachusetts 02134

I've only been to The Breakfast Club once and thought it was awesome. Beware - if you don't go early, you'll have to wait. The building isn't big, so the line can get long very quickly. The Breakfast Club has themed menu items that are related to the movie.  Their menu is vast and they're able to make gluten free pancakes for a minimal fee of $2 added to the pancake price!

Common Ground || Saturday + Sunday: 10 am to 2 pm || menu
319 Broadway; Arlington, Massachusetts 02474
Common Ground has a great brunch menu as well. My favorite is the egg sandwich. I personally am not a fan of the home fries at Common Ground, so I asked for french fries instead and they accommodated my request. I'm also a fan of the Common Ground Lemonade {21+} with my brunch.
