Last Monday, I went to a wonderful brunch at Brownstone and met up with my friend, J. It was difficult to decide where we wanted to go because unfortunately, brunch does not extend pass the weekend - even if it's a holiday weekend. Honestly, brunch should be available every day of the week. After throwing ideas back and forth, I discovered Brownstone has a weekday brunch option.

I decided to order their F.C.C.F.T. { Fried Chicken Crunchy French Toast }, while J ordered the Eggs Sammy. We also ordered the Sunshine for a drink option - its basically like a mimosa. It was very delicious.

I thought the crunchy french toast in F.C.C.F.T. would be french toast covered in captain crunch { as I've heard about this phenomenon, but haven't tried it } instead of crunchy french toast sticks. Don't get me wrong, I love french toast sticks, but was expecting regular french toast.

F.C.C.T.Eggs Sammy

I enjoyed the F.C.C.F.T.! It was very delicious. I wish it was served with a side of potatoes so it would not be all fried food, but luckily I had a friend who was willing to share some of her potatoes. As for the Eggs Sammy, Janet thought it was great!

I’ve been to Brownstone a few times. It’s a really great spot and not only do they serve weekend brunch, they also serve weekday brunch. So, if you have someone visiting during the week {or want to enjoy brunch during the week}, check out Brownstone.

I decided to get the Croque Monsieur since I’ve already tried the egg sammy and F.C.C.F.T. The Croque monsieur was different than I thought it would be, but wasn’t terrible. I probably wouldn’t order it again, but I can say that I’ve tried something new! The Croque monsieur had a french toast for the outer sandwich, with ham and cheese in the middle.
